Shanghai 360
About This Spot
Stepping into Shanghai 360, you’re welcomed by a quiet, unpretentious corner of Guelph where familiar rhythms of a neighborhood restaurant gently unfold. The pace here is easygoing — not rushed, allowing each visit to feel like a pause from the day’s bustle rather than a sprint through a menu. The space hums softly with the kind of calm energy that comes from regular faces and genuine smiles, setting a tone that’s both modest and sincere.
There’s a simple warmth in the interaction, especially from the owner, whose approachable nature adds a comforting human touch. It’s a place where kindness lingers as much as the aromas from the kitchen, lending the feeling that you’re not just another order but a welcomed guest. Moments like a helpful hand in a tricky situation or a friendly greeting turn what could be routine into something quietly memorable.
The menu here doesn’t shout or overwhelm — it invites you into a taste of straightforward, comforting flavors that encourage returning. While some dishes might wander between comforting familiarity and room for growth, the evolving care put into each plate speaks of a place listening closely to its community's palate. There’s a softness that embraces rather than dazzles, a reminder of the honest, everyday joys of sharing a meal without fuss.
Shanghai 360 quietly captures the slower, more personal side of dining out — a spot where moments matter more than flashiness, and where the heart behind the counter quietly shapes the experience. It’s this subtle feeling of genuine connection and calm comfort that lingers long after you leave.

The sweet chili chicken and the sweet and sour pork at this location is very good. The issue with the food is the noodles are very bland, mushy and kind of cold. There was a few burnt noodles in my meal. As for service, I was greeted right away by the worker who was friendly. One problem is the worker I dealt with kept trying to upsell my order. Pricing is a little expensive for what you get.

I noticed that they pay attention to feedbacks and improved the quality and taste of their food. The fried rice is so much better than before - much softer. The food is tasty and simple. I come here often for lunch. The owner of the restaurant is also super nice and friendly. Her smile brightens up my day!

Lost my phone outside and the woman in the store was nice enough to loan me her cell phone for over ten minutes while I tried to locate my phone (which I later found on the road near where I exited cab) I told her the next time I was at the mall I would give her $20 for letting me use her phone, I came back a week later and offered her the $20 I told her I would give her and she said "no it's ok" and she refused to take the $20, it was very nice of her to let me use the phone as we all know the frantic feeling when we have dropped our phone somewhere, I found the food pretty decent also although I haven't been there for a couple years, it's what you expect from a middle of the mall place, not amazing but pretty good and fills you up, Thanks again for letting me use your phone that was very nice.
